TCRA Lift Pass

TCRA Lift Pass provides lift access at Treble Cone and Snow Park. Each athlete must purchase a lift pass. The age of the athlete as of July 1, 2009 will determine which pass he/she falls under.

This program is the first and second step on the development ladder at Treble Cone Race Academy. Based around the NZ Ski Racing organization age groups the program is designed for the E and K Age group (ages 7-14).The E/K Level program offers top training and competitive situations to junior athletes.

Training:

On-snow training will be held 10 days during the school holidays and 3 days per week (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) for 10 weeks following the School Holidays, for a total of 40 days on snow at Treble Cone. There will be a minimum of 4 hours on snow each day. Video analysis, ski tuning, and/or Dryland field training will be held at the Academy Lodge after on-snow training one day per week. Participants will have the opportunity to compete in the Mapei Race and, if eligible, the K-cup races and Interfield races in Treble Cone, Cardrona, Coronet Peak, Remarkables.

Program outline:

The E & K Full-Time Program offers local kids a way to train while still attending school, and also caters to international athletes who are planning on staying in New Zealand for the entire season. This program is designed to get younger kids excited about ski racing and to develop the physical and mental skills needed to continue a ski racing career. Athletes will be preparing to race at the home Mapei race, the K Cup Races and Interfield races. Coaches expense for these races are not included in the tuition.

Accommodation:

Accommodation is not offered with the Full-Time program. Athletes in this program will need to make separate arrangements. If needed, TCRA will assist with Homestay arrangements.

Transport:

Transport to Treble Cone and the Academy lodge is not included in the tuition. Athletes may arrange their own transportation to TCRA training and activities, or if available, transport may be provided by TCRA vans at an extra charge of NZD 25.00 per day.

Uniform:

Upon arrival each athlete will receive a TCRA jacket for use during the duration of the camp.

*Please Note:

• A NZD 750.00 Down Payment will be required at time of booking. This will ensure a spot for the athlete. The Booking Deadline for this camp is June 1st, 2009. As an incentive for early booking, we are offering a 5% discount on the Down Payment (NZD 37.50) to all athletes that book on or before May 1st, 2009.
• The Full Balance of your account must be paid in full by July 1st, 2009.
• Race entry fees are not included.
