Some of our athletes for the 2009 TCRA programs will be placed in the Lookout Lodge. All of our athletes, including those staying at the Te Awa Lodge down the road, will have access to the amenities at the Lookout Lodge: on-site tuning facility; well equipped, commercial sized kitchen; large dining tables inside and out; wireless internet connection, Sky TV, DVD, and stereo; table soccer; trampoline; board games and books; laundry facilities. The Lookout Lodge has stunning panoramic views and spacious living conditions. On a normal sunny day you’re apt to see a lamb or two running around the grounds.

The athletes staying at the Lookout Lodge will be have access to the kitchen and space in the refrigerator to keep items to make their lunch, snacks, etc. Breakfast will be provided daily and all TCRA athletes and staff will come together for dinner every night. A local chef will prepare fresh and healthy meals daily.

These living conditions foster a lot of good, clean fun and socializing, however you can be assured that the athletes will be under constant supervision, as many of our coaches will also be living amongst them.

The Lookout Lodge is located about 10 minutes out of Wanaka, towards Lake Hawea. The academy coaches will provide a daily shuttle service to Treble Cone, Snow Park, and downtown for training and leisure time.

Please note: all athlete’s staying at the Lookout Lodge will be provided with bedding linens; however they will need to bring their own bath towels.
